Hi, my name is Fae. I’m not an average person…or so I’m told…
I have a “sister”. They call her the good egg. She always dresses in white and has to be everyone’s hero…I’m her clone.
Some people like to throw this in my face. They say it means I was born without a soul; that I attract unusual situations. I don’t know…
Would I be able to feel things if I didn’t have a soul? I feel things! For the most part…
GLEE! Like glee. I feel glee…mostly when I see people fall on black ice, BUT THAT’S NORMAL, RIGHT!?!
Who made me? I have no idea. Why was I made? Also, no clue. My sister stopped talking to me years ago. I don’t think she has the answers either.
These are secrets I hope to find out someday…but not today I guess.
For now, I need to find my missing lipstick…
Ah, my trusty Spirit Board. Let my spirit guides show me the way…to my Crimson Blood-red lipstick.
I keep a giant white candle lit for protection, and keep my silver bells by my side in case Gordy decides to pay a visit. He’s such an ass! Never believe what he has to say.
“May the bright light of this white candle banish those that wish me harm, and invite those who wish me happiness…Spirit guides, elders, where did I leave my lipstick?”
A minute later…
I feel a pull at my hands…“K — I — T — C — H — E — N”
OH! That’s right! I reapplied after my 8pm cup of coffee.
“Thank you, spirit gui…”
“H — I — S — U — N — S — H — I — N — E”
Crap…it’s Gordy. I’ll just give these bells a good shake and get rid of him.
“U — R — B — E — I — N — G — F — O — L — L — O — W — E — D”, my hands no longer on the planchette, but already shaking my bells.
“I CAST YOU OUT, GORDY! BE GONE, SPIRIT, BE GONE!!!”
“W — A — I — T”…
I feel a strong rush of wind, and the planchette slides to “Goodbye”. I can get Gordy to leave fast…but he’s usually less aggressive when he goes.
I let a minute of silence go by until I feel the room, and myself, calm...
“Merry part, dear spirits. May we meet again in the light.”
I snuff out the candle, grab my lipstick and begin my night…
End of Part 1.
